Sedona destination wedding
Destination weddings can be hard to plan. Especially if you haven’t been to the locations before! It takes a lot of effort to scout the right locations, ceremony views, and vendors for your perfect day.
Yet this is what makes Sedona a great destination wedding location: many vendors have worked in the industry for years. Couples traveling from out of state should make a point to start their planning more than a year in advance to ensure the right vendors and venues are available on your special date.
If you see anything you like in these photos, continue to the bottom of the blog for a list of all the vendors from this destination wedding!
Destination wedding at Yavapai Vista
Yavapai Vista is a wonderful location for those looking to get hitched in Sedona’s spiritual and beautiful landscape.
The word “Vista” normally implies a mountaintop view, but luckily the walk to Yavapai Vista is a short one. At the suggested ceremony location, the sun warms the mostly flat red rocks.
The area has a short, less than a mile hike that includes a slight incline. For this reason, the area is not wheelchair accessible and good walking or hiking shoes are recommended. Check out the bride’s footwear in the next photo — who says brides can’t be tough!
In addition, the area’s bathroom and medium-sized parking lot means it isn’t too far from the necessities.
The Wilde in Sedona
Nicole and Brian were so pleased with The Wilde Resort and Spa‘s reception space and were able to manage dinner, dancing and cake cutting for all their guests.
The Wilde is located at 2250 W State Route 89A, Sedona, Arizona. It’s in the heart of West Sedona with a view of Thunder Mountain in the background. Additionally, the 4.5 star hotel has gardens, courtyards, a restaurant and a private area for wedding receptions.
The vendors had plenty of time to set up a beautiful ceremony. So when the newlyweds made their entrance, it was to an extravagant dining and dancing area with a crowd of happy guests. Everyone ate, laughed and danced the night away.
