Sedona elopement beneath Cathedral Rock

Angela and Charles planned the ultimate getaway for their Sedona elopement.

The couple stayed at Sedona Golf Resort for their elopement package in Sedona. Afterward, they traveled to Baldwin Trail for their quiet elopement location, and then held their reception at Cucina Rustica.

White Desert Photography’s Victoria Nabours shot this elopement as an associate booking with Jane in the Woods. If you want more details about their elopement, keep reading or just check out the photos below!

Sedona Elopement

As the couple got ready, the resort had a villa for each of them to get ready in, allowing them to save their first look for the ceremony.

But the couple instead favored a first touch! A rare sight in weddings and elopements, first touches mean the couple is able to touch but not see each other. It’s a cute play on tradition that we always love to see.

After their first touch at the resort, the couple and guests traveled down Verde Valley School Rd to their perfect ceremony location with a great view of Cathedral Rock. Their friends and family surrounded them for their Sedona elopement and it was magical!

After sharing their vows, the couple joined for a sand ceremony and exchanged rings. After a passionate kiss, their ceremony was over.

Their guests watched teary eyes as they had their first dance as forever partners at the elopement location. Lots of hugs and kisses from friend and family & then it was time for some gorgeous sunset photos.

We danced in the last bits of sunlight before heading to their intimate reception at Cucina Rustica.

It was such a cute ceremony, and Angela looked beautiful both before and after the ceremony. I was so happy to be able to share this moment with Angela and Charles as they began their life together!

“My husband and I planned a small elopement in Sedona. I found Victoria on Instagram and loved her style. We went through the planning process without a wedding planner which proved to be difficult. Victoria was so helpful in making suggestions and pointing us into the right direction, even though I know she really didn’t have to do that as our photographer. On the day of the wedding, she was prompt in arrival and swift in ensuring that she captured everything. In our evening shoot, we went to 2 locations but looking at our pictures it appears that we went to at least 20. She has an amazing eye for photography and truly captured the spirit of our relationship. The quality is excellent and we could not be happier with how our photos turned out. Victoria is a gem. “Totally WORTH IT! Highly recommend!

Victoria is amazing behind the camera. I am usually really camera shy but I was so comfortable. It literally felt like a DREAM! We enjoyed each breath taking moment!”

“Our wedding was originally March 2020 and she was so great during that difficult time of unexpected rescheduling. When we finally met 2 years after our first email exchange she made us feel so comfortable and at ease.

We would 100% recommend her to anyone and would be thrilled to have her take our photos again.”
