After photographing weddings at the most exquisite Arizona resorts, I know Sedona resort weddings are one-of-a-kind.
Other Arizona cities like Phoenix and Tucson have great resorts, but you won’t find the luxurious views Sedona offers anywhere else. When booking Sedona resorts, consider the ceremony backdrop, guest accommodations, and services offered in the resort wedding packages. Resort packages often make a wedding day easy, including planning and catering services into the overall price.
And if you can’t pick between two ceremony backdrops, book a photographer who adds an extra session before or after the wedding day to your package. But for now, let’s jump into what I’ve learned in my 10 years as a Sedona wedding photographer.
From cocktail to golden hour, you won’t miss a photo with White Desert Photography.
Sedona resort weddings
Nestled in between the rural wilds of northern Arizona and the modern cities of central Arizona, the city of Sedona exhibits the meeting of wild adventure and modern convenience.
Leaning into this, Sedona resorts often exhibit undeniably Southwest architecture that leans into the panoramic views. The Sedona style features inspiration from the nearby Arcosanti, rather than building over nature it immerses architecture within the iconic red rocks. Additionally, the world-class dining, restorative self-care services, and guided adventures make it an adult playground to revitalize the body, mind, and soul.
Sedona’s service can make any honeymoon or lover’s trip an unforgettable story, but Sedona resort’s wedding industry only attracts the most selective of tastes. When searching for Sedona resort weddings, consider these—
- Enchantment Resort
- Red Agave Adventure Resort
- Sky Ranch Lodge
- L’Auberge de Sedona
- Amara Resort
The packages, aesthetic, and services these resorts offer are worth every penny, but exclude many due to their high costs.
Amara Resort
Amara Resort has everything to make your wedding day easy and enchanting.
The resort offers wedding amenities like indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, cocktail reception, and dinner for 60 guests. Their incredible wedding team can help organize vendors and make your wedding day set up a breeze.
And I haven’t even gotten to the view! The view of Snoopy dramatic Sedona backdrop that will leave your guests speechless as you say “I do.”
Red Agave Adventure Resort
One of the Sedona Seven’s featured amenities, Red Agave’s offers a first class selection for lovers of seclusion.
For weddings with more than 30 people, the entire resort must be booked without exception. This is why I love recommending this resort for couples looking for an adventurous yet intimate affair. Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte stand tall behind the ceremony site.
Their nearby trails will make choosing your after-wedding activities a simple choice, especially for the outdoorsy.
Considering an adventure elopement? We do it all at White Desert Photography.
L’Auberge de Sedona
L’Auberge de Sedona has a five-star location and easy access to nature. But it’s their refined wedding spaces and services that will elevate your wedding.
As guests arrive to the resort, they will think they’ve walked into the Southwest’s secret garden. And the nearby underground spring-fed Oak Creek is always running and feeds L’Auberge’s lush green canopy below the nearby mountainous Marg’s Draw and Snoopy Rock. With multiple ceremony locations, L’Auberge can satisfy many wedding styles including whimsical, boho, and traditional aesthetics.
The resort services include wedding canvases, a wedding planner, on-site catering, and a large list of recommended florists, disc jockeys, and other products you may need.
Sky Ranch Lodge
Many of my Sky Ranch Lodge clients say one thing about why they chose a Sky Ranch wedding: Once you see the view from the ceremony location, you will be sold.
Sky Ranch’s friendly service, incredible charm, and new amenities make the space a favorite with locals and visitors with expensive tastes. As one of Sky Ranch Lodge’s preferred vendors, my clients are always completely satisfied with the service at Sky Ranch.
Additionally, the Airport Mesa vortex near Sky Ranch Lodge elevates the opportunities for bridal and intimate photos after the ceremony. See for yourself below.
Enchantment Resort
A wedding at Enchantment Resort features secluded desert vistas nestled in the panoramic views of Sedona’s Boynton Canyon.
Named one of the best resorts in Sedona by U.S. News & World Reports, Enchantment Resort offers nearby access to some of the best hiking trails. After reawakening your body, the Mii amo spa will connect your spirit and bring out your best self to prepare you for your walk down the aisle.
As for their wedding services, Enchantment’s wedding packages offers set up and tear down so no guest lifts a finger to achieve a gorgeous and exquisite ceremony and reception. Their specialty add-ons will leave you enchanted, but there’s one offering that makes Enchantment stand above the rest.
Seven Canyons
Enchantment Resort provides exclusive access to the Seven Canyons Golf Club.
Recently renovated by Tom Weiskopf, the private golf course includes use of the driving range and practice park and access to the clubhouse and dining. Enchantment’s preferred partnership with Seven Canyons is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will be the talk of the man cave for years.
