Sky Ranch Lodge wedding

As one of Sedona’s most popular wedding venues, Sky Ranch Lodge is a favorite because of The Lookout.

The Lookout is the resort’s wedding space that has sweeping views of Sedona’s beautiful red rocks. The resort offers a ceremony space that can fit 15 to 150 people during ceremonies and receptions. Even better, guests and wedding parties can use the countless rooms at the resort to get ready. The resort has since built a barn covering over the reception space to protect from weather and sun.

Any venue will be more expensive than an low-cost outdoor elopement, but Sky Ranch Lodge has plenty to offer for starry-eyed lovers.

There’s a Sedona Vortex near Sky Ranch Lodge?

Located near Sky Ranch Lodge, people staying at the resort can easily access the Airport Mesa Vortex.

Attending high school in Sedona, I learned that Sedona vortexes are places where people feel a magical connection to your life and surroundings. Airport Mesa Vortex offers a mystic view of Chimney Rock, Thunder Mountain, and beautiful Arizona sunsets. Find your way here before or after your wedding if you have the time. There you’ll understand the intangible magic of Sedona that the modern age struggles to grasp.

Don’t forget: If you’re interested in Sky Ranch Lodge, ask White Desert Photography to fit bridal portraits at the vortex with your beau into the schedule.

Dave and Courtney’s Day

Dave and Courtney wanted a day to remember, and the photos show they got one.

Courtney was a bubbly and fun bride. She had been planning this day for almost two years, so she was anxious to see the day finally arrive. “I know not everything will go to plan, but I also know that this will be the most perfect day,” Courtney said.

I think her great mindset created a rock-solid perspective that couldn’t be shaken on the day of her wedding. But luckily, their guests had a blast and everyone — including the Dave — was moved during the ceremony.

Also, special shout out to Courtney’s mother who assembled the vogue florals for the ceremony!

“My husband and I planned a small elopement in Sedona. I found Victoria on Instagram and loved her style. We went through the planning process without a wedding planner which proved to be difficult. Victoria was so helpful in making suggestions and pointing us into the right direction, even though I know she really didn’t have to do that as our photographer. On the day of the wedding, she was prompt in arrival and swift in ensuring that she captured everything. In our evening shoot, we went to 2 locations but looking at our pictures it appears that we went to at least 20. She has an amazing eye for photography and truly captured the spirit of our relationship. The quality is excellent and we could not be happier with how our photos turned out. Victoria is a gem. “Our wedding was originally March 2020 and she was so great during that difficult time of unexpected rescheduling. When we finally met 2 years after our first email exchange she made us feel so comfortable and at ease.

We would 100% recommend her to anyone and would be thrilled to have her take our photos again.”
